With local South African leisure travel only just opening it’s doors to locals on level 2, we must take in to consideration responsible & safe travelling will be the “new normal”

We all love a weekend getaway to recharge our senses whether it’s exploring our Big 5 at one of our luxury game lodges, soaking up some sun at one of our beautiful beaches or total pampering at the hotel’s spa….there is no doubt that travel is the only experience that leaves you feeling re-vitalized, relaxed, re-energized and restored from everyday life. Travelling is truly a rich, unique & invigorating experience.

So whilst you gear up to support our local games lodges, hotels, resorts & spas, here are a few things to check on before you embark on your much needed break:Ensure that you book with a recognized travel agent who can guide you in booking the perfect escape

Check that the hotel / resort / lodge is covid-19 compliant and has all the correct safety precautions enforced

Check out the refund policies, re-booking agreements and the establishments t&c’s so that you are fully aware of all rules & restrictions

Remember to pack your masks, personal sanitizers, cleansing wipes, gloves etc

Inform your travel agent of any underlying conditions / illnesses you may have in order to direct you in booking the perfect getaway for you

Remember to be cautious at common areas of the establishment and follow the covid-19 protocols as laid out by the hotel
